VIVA Le Dance
VIVA Le Dance offers a large variety of dance classes for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn or an experienced dancer wanting to progress and improve your techniques, we have you covered.
All classes are run with qualified, experienced and passionate teachers who help our dancers achieve their full potential all whilst also having lots of fun.
You can join our dance family to make friends and improve social skills or take your journey further by joining one of our competition teams!
At VIVA Le Dance we are more than just a competition school as we have numerous opportunities such as annual shows and cabarets as well as IDTA examinations and presentations, on offer for all our students or simply dance for FUN!

At VLD we pride ourselves on being inclusive. Everything is on offer to all our students but nothing is ever compulsory. We aim nurture our students to be the best they can be & guide them throughout their dancing journey. Building confidence & self belief, all whilst creating life long memories to cherish & of course sharing our love of dance.
Ballroom & Latin
At VLD we train dancers from 2yr+ right through to adults in Ballroom and Latin, we work using the IDTA syllabus to build on techniques and style and cover all 10 dances plus many more rhythms. From the Ballroom Waltz to the Latin ChaChaCha we have you covered strictly style!
Both classes and private 1-2-1 tuition is available from 3yr right up to Adults. We hold twice yearly IDTA exam sessions & take part in cabarets as well as running a very successful competition team!
Ballroom & Latin builds upon techniques & performance flare
Whilst building self-confidence & self-discipline improving harmony between our mind and body, giving us a sense of well-being.
As we follow the IDTA syllabus we focus on Rosette Awards for our 3-8year olds, Star Dance Awards for our 6-10year olds, and moving on from 11years we have our introductory 1 Dance Awards whilst developing the techniques to later move on to Bronze, Silver, Gold & Above.
Ballroom Dancing is a beautiful dance style accessible to all, no matter your age or ability!
Freestyle Disco
Lyrical Slow Dance
Freestyle Disco is a fun, vibrant and fast dance style, it has been developed from Jazz dance and includes; jumps, kicks & spins, also incorporating arm, head and hand positions, we use an element of acro/gymnastic dance & flexibility is included in training.
Freestyle allows the dancer freedom to express themselves and is performed to upbeat music. Freestyle is fast changing to keep up with modern trends and modern music!
Lyrical Slow is infused with various styles such as; Ballet, Jazz and Latin, movements are flowing to help tell your story through dance, expression is very important as you perform. As with Freestyle Disco we incoroporate leaps, jumps, turns and kicks with an element of acro/gymnastic dance & again flexibility is included in training.
Classes and private 1-2-1 tuition is available, we have competition teams which travel both locally and further afield, in both National & International events.

Musical Theatre

Then you will LOVE Musical Theatre!
Our Musical Theatre classes cover the 3 elements of Musical Theatre but specialises in Musical Theatre Dance & Characterisation.
We work on the core techniques of through exercises and games then use them within our work using all the musicals you know from the West End!
We are currently working to our Summer production of
"Welcome to Wonderland"!
We hold annual IDTA exams, plus various showcases and cabarets!

We cover everything from leg splits to aerials - no matter what level you are at this will enhance your chosen dance style or maybe this is your focus either way we have you covered.

This class takes hard work & dedication but with the right training & support you can achieve those goals & build upon those skills, with the right technique.

At VIVA Le dance our Mini Movers classes are designed to give the best introduction to everything dance, we cover various styles & rhythms to develop
Musicality, Co-ordination & Confidence
Perfect opportunity to practice those social skills and meet new friends too!
Our classes are super fun & engaging!
Many of our Mini Mover graduates move on to take our mainstream classes. We currently have 12 graduates still dancing with us, several of them are now on our competition teams & they have also recently passed their very first IDTA dance exams!
